I am seein a band with Val and Alexis this Friday night and I don't know anything about them except that they cover jawbreaker's 'kiss the bottle.' So I'm stoked.

This just made my day. I played the last few songs on Unfun in my car on the way here and then threw on a copy of Etc. and was actually thinking about this song at like 10:00 this morning. What an influential band and song.I mean the Foo Fighters and Lucero cover it – to name a few - and that speaks for itself. Then I was thinking about the gatefold on the Dear You LP that shows the picture of Kurt Cobain wearing the Morton Salt Jawbreaker shirt and thinking: “You know you did well in the early 90’s if that dude rocked your band’s shirt”. I could talk about these guys for days. Stay stoked. That rules.
